The joker is not always just and noble and does not follow rules or instructions. The joker is neither a leader nor a follower. It is not always possible to understand the joker; the joker sometimes chooses silence over words. The joker’s face, shape and form change, and the joker is not always a friend. The joker is neither a singular journey nor destination, neither palace nor shanty, neither female nor male. Like a hidden clause or unforeseen encounter, the joker finds a way into one’s head or the key to one’s heart. If one removes the joker from the mind, and the mind from the body, and the body from the world, the joker remains but is transparent, unscathed.
