valeveil strongly encourages you to submit your work via email. Text submissions should be sent as .doc, .rtf, or .pdf attachments (include .pdf if particular about formatting), and images should be sent as either high-resolution .jpg or .png. bow and arrow
» There is no absolutist curatorial method for Bow and Arrow (to ensure flexibility and freedom for participating curators). Submission consists solely of a text proposal (in English and / or Swedish) as one attachment only providing the following required information: (1) 300 words or less curator / artist bio; (2) [working] title of project; (3) predicted medium / materials used; (4) predicted techniques used; (5) 500-1000 word concept / theory / inquiry; (6) 500 words or less justification: how the Bow and Arrow project plans to assist valeveil with ambitions listed on the Bow and Arrow project page; (7) physical location(s) where project will occur; and (8) estimated itinerary including schedule of related events.
» Optional information: personal website and artist links (e.g., blog / facebook / twitter).
» If supplementary images are needed, please include six or less image files (high-resolution .jpg or .png).
» Name image files accordingly: lastname_title_imagenumber.jpg (e.g. smith_apocalypse_01.jpg).

Submissions should be no more than 30 pages in length.

duo
» Submissions should be 80 pages or less and written primarily in English and / or Swedish. Additional languages can be used, but the majority of the text must be generated in English and / or Swedish.
» Writers do not have to be United States citizens or citizens of a Scandinavian country, but their submitted work should be influenced by the United States and / or Scandinavia—either by actual citizenship, residency or by an examination of one or both regions.
» English «» Swedish translations are not mandatory for submission. Texts will be translated if one is not provided.
» Each text should emphasize the solitary literary pursuit.

foxhole
» Independent curators, DIY organizers, artists and creatives are encouraged to submit their interest in entering the foxhole by either sending an email with the following information: (1) 300 words or less bio and (2) one viewable work sample reflecting your already existing practice via web link(s) or .pdf attachment, or (3) attending a foxhole meeting and / or event then expressing interest via participation.
»  Optional information: personal website and links (e.g., blog / facebook / twitter).

ouxpo
» Six or less image files (high-resolution .jpg or .png) are to be submitted for each piece of work (varying angels or close-up) on a solid background, preferably a white surface unless color is necessary for contrast.
» Name files accordingly: lastname_title_imagenumber.jpg (e.g. smith_apocalypse_01.jpg).
» It is suggested that large files are sent via dropbox or yousendit.
» Additional required information: (1) 300 words or less artist bio; (2) title; (3) medium / materials used; (4) techniques used; and (5) 300 words or less constraint concept for each work.
» Optional information: personal website and artist links (e.g. blog / facebook / twitter).

polemics
Submissions should be no more than 20 pages in length.

ready, able
» It is suggested that text submissions be 500 words or less, in English and / or Swedish.
» Additional details regarding font size and typeface(s) should be clearly indicated, if applicable. The typeface should be: Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman or any font found on the Google Web Fonts page.
» If sound accompanies the text, it must be in .mp3 or .mp4 format, less than 5 MB.
» Name audio file accordingly: ra_lastname_title.mp4 (e.g. ra_smith_apocalypse.mp4).
» Additional required information: 300 words or less artist bio.
» Optional information: personal website and artist links (e.g. blog / facebook / twitter).

special editions
valeveil is currently not taking submissions for this project.

tandem
» Submission consists solely of a text proposal (in English and / or Swedish) as one attachment only providing the following required information: (1) 300 words or less artist bio; (2) [working] title of project; (3) 500-1000 word project proposal; (4) location(s) where project will most likely occur; and (5) estimated time frame artist can devote to Tandem project with additional relevant dates.
» Optional information: personal website and artist links (e.g., blog / facebook / twitter).
» If supplementary images are needed, please include six or less image files (high-resolution .jpg or .png).
» Name image files accordingly: lastname_title_imagenumber.jpg (e.g. smith_apocalypse_01.jpg).
» If supplementary video / audio files are needed, it is suggested that large files are sent via dropbox or yousendit.

wikiloot
» It is suggested that text submissions be in the 1,000-5,000 word range, in English and / or Swedish.
» If images are needed, please include six or less image files (high-resolution .jpg or .png).

» It is suggested that large files are sent via dropbox or yousendit.

Editorial Policy
» Please allow valeveil ample time to reply, whether submitting via email or mail.
» valeveil primarily handles submissions in English and Swedish. If a submission is in another language, an accurate English translation must accompany it.
» If you have a completed manuscript that you’d like valeveil to consider that does not fall under an already-existing category, email a brief cover letter with subject line unsolicited including your full contact information, email, and an excerpt as attachment (20 pages or less). Or mail the aforementioned as hardcopy to our physical address.
» Simultaneous submissions are smiled upon, but notify valeveil via email if submitted work has been accepted elsewhere. Inform us of the estimated date of your submission. This makes withdrawing your work easier, if need be.
» When submitting images, you must obtain permission from the copyright holder and clearly indicate copyright holder details.
» Unless otherwise stated, valeveil works are available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 License.
» valeveil is not responsible for missing or damaged materials sent via poste; items sent via poste will not be returned but can be retrieved.
» If your submission cannot be sent using these submission parameters, email concerns to submit [at] valeveil [dot] se with subject line parameters.
